Translating Brand and Adventure Into Limited Edition Merch

Connecting with audiences through bespoke art and merchandise that feels personal, meaningful, and sells out within hours.

Client: Live To Create Role: Creative Designer Format: Limited Edition Merchandise Design

The brief

Travel creators Sam and Zac from Live To Create commissioned a limited edition t shirt design that authentically captured their brand, sense of adventure, and connection with their community.

The brief was highly specific. The design needed to feel personal, reflect their global travels, and resonate with an audience drawn to exploration, creativity, and storytelling.

The approach

I developed a bespoke illustration using refined linework, weaving together miniature scenes inspired by Live To Create’s global journeys. Each element was carefully selected for its personal significance to the crew, creating a layered visual narrative rather than a single focal image.

The goal was to design a piece that rewarded closer inspection, inviting the viewer to explore the illustration much like the travels it referenced. The final artwork balanced detail, cohesion, and wearability, ensuring it worked both as a standalone design and as part of a broader brand ecosystem.

The outcome

The t shirt was released as a limited drop and sold out within hours.

The success demonstrated strong alignment between design, brand identity, and audience expectations, while reinforcing the value of thoughtful, story driven merchandise over generic apparel.

Lasting impact

This collaboration highlighted how well considered design can translate digital storytelling into tangible products that audiences genuinely connect with. It remains a strong example of my ability to interpret brand identity and turn it into commercially successful creative work.
